Adjunct Faculty: Business, Early College
Campus Location: Early College High Schools / Lynn / Danvers
Work schedule: Monday - Friday, days/times vary by course schedule

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Division of STEM and Business invites applications for adjunct faculty vacancies for the Fall 2024 teaching in-person Early College (EC) business courses with partnering school districts. Courses begin in January 2025.
Current openings are for an Early College section of:
- BUS100 Intro to Business
- ENT100 Introduction to Entrepreneurship
- MKT101 Principles of Marketing

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Teach one or more sections as assigned by the Division Dean.
- Prepare course syllabi that meet all contractual requirements.
- Schedule classes to meet for the allotted time on every scheduled meeting day during the semester.
- Address all department course outcomes
- Employ effective instructional strategies that promotes student learning.
- Use appropriate assessment tools to accurately measure student learning
- Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner.
- Contact dean or advising staff as necessary regarding student issues.
- Meet all deadlines for submission of grades, student participation reports, student grievance responses and other administrative documentation.
- Engage in a high-level of collaboration/communication with the respective high school teacher liaisons.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business or degree field closely related to the subject matter. A Bachelor's Degree may be considered with evidence of graduate study in Business or related field.
- A commitment to and experience working with a diverse student body.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment
PREFERENCES:
- Evidence of successful prior teaching in higher education or high school. Community College teaching experience strongly preferred.
- Experience teaching online/hybrid and/or embedding the use of technology into the curriculum preferred
- Experience with Blackboard or similar Learning Management System
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
SALARY: Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours. This is a non-benefited, MCCC position.
